Alexandria “Alex” Cheyenne Thompson
April 5, 1994 – July 15, 2025
Alexandria “Alex” Cheyenne Thompson, 31, of Portland, Oregon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Born on April 5, 1994, Alex was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and devoted mother to her three beautiful children: Xavier, Kori, and Aspyn. She worked in healthcare and was pursuing her degree to become a respiratory therapist. Alex was on a journey of self-love and healing, embracing life with humor and her own unique flair.

She loved all things fall–the colors, food, and sunflowers–and had a special place in her heart for her chickens, who she treated like part of the family. She was known for her fierce loyalty, big personality, and her ability to bring people together no matter the differences. Outgoing and full of life, she always brought energy to every room. Often the life of gatherings, if there was drama, Alex was probably in the middle of it–usually laughing. Above all, Alex was deeply loving, and her three children were her whole world. She always tried her best to do right by them and live life on her own terms.

Alex is survived by her children; her mother, LaTasha; her siblings Shirley, Ashley, Shania, Sam, Mikey, Sonny, and Mecca; and her many beloved nieces and nephews: Cecil, Marley, Junior, Cole, Salah, Soren, River, Ryan, and Phoenix. She also leaves behind her best friend and chosen sister, Jasmine, and many others who loved her deeply.

Her strength carried her through life’s challenges, and her laughter filled every room with warmth. Alex gave love without hesitation and left behind a legacy of kindness and courage. She was a rare soul, deeply cherished and impossible to forget–and she will be forever loved.
